Terms of Use

These terms apply to the my Work Shifts app and to the my Work Shifts Plus in-app purchase, published by Christos Themelis, an individual developer ("we"). By installing or using the app you accept these terms. How the app handles your data is described in the Privacy Policy (https://www.myworkshifts.com/en/privacy).

The app

• my Work Shifts is a shift calendar for personal use: it helps you plan shifts, alarms and notes and estimate your hours and pay.
• The app works without an account. Your data is stored on your device, and you are responsible for keeping backups of it (the app can create backup files and exports).

my Work Shifts Plus

• Plus unlocks additional features. It is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription, at the prices shown before you buy.
• Purchases are made through Google Play and are also subject to Google Play's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in Google Play. If you cancel, Plus stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. If a free trial is offered, the subscription becomes paid when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policies. This does not affect your rights as a consumer under the law.

Calculations, alarms and other information

• Hours, pay, overtime and holiday calculations are estimates based on the rates and rules you enter. They are not legal, tax or payroll advice: always check them against your employer's schedule and your payslip.
• Alarms depend on your device's settings (permissions, battery optimisation, Do Not Disturb). We cannot guarantee that every alarm will ring, so do not rely on the app as your only way to be on time for work.
• The weather forecast comes from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway), and public holidays come from public sources. Both may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Use of the app

• You may not copy, modify or redistribute the app, or bypass its purchase or licence checks.
• We may update the app and change, add or remove features over time.

Liability

• The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost data, missed shifts, incorrect pay or other indirect losses that result from using the app.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes, law and contact

• We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and important changes are announced in the app or in its release notes. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.
• These terms are governed by Greek law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
